Healthy Pet Store is excited to announce our second annual Stuff-a-thon event, held in celebration of KONG Day. This special in-store event brings together our community to make a real difference for dogs in local shelters.
Thanks to the generous support of KONG, we have received a donation of 200 KONG Classics and Extremes, along with a variety of delicious pates and stuffing ingredients donated by our suppliers. Together, we have created an opportunity for the local community to come together, have fun, and help provide much-needed enrichment to shelter dogs.
What to expect
Stuffing KONG Classics and Extremes for Shelter Dogs
Come along and get stuck in by filling KONG Classics and Extremes with an array of tasty treats. The stuffing ingredients will include nutritious options such as fruit, vegetables, cheese, meats, and pastes kindly donated by our suppliers. Once prepared, the KONG Classics and Extremes will be frozen and delivered to local shelters, providing valuable enrichment for dogs as they await their forever homes.
A free, family-friendly community event
The Stuff-a-thon is a completely free event and is open to everyone. We welcome individuals and families to join us. Whether you are a long-time pet caregiver or new to the world of pet ownership, or just want to do something for dogs in need, this is a wonderful opportunity to get involved and make a difference.
Where and when
The event will take place in-store at Healthy Pet Store, with an outdoor gazebo set up (weather permitting) to ensure a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Our team will be on hand to provide guidance on how to stuff the KONG Classics and Extremes effectively and offer insights into the benefits of enrichment toys for canine well-being.
