Terra Canis AliVet Low Protein Veal is a carefully crafted complete food designed for dogs with specific dietary needs related to kidney or liver health. This recipe contains veal, including heart, tongue, and fat. It is blended with easily digestible vegetables and select medicinal herbs to deliver high-quality calories without overburdening the body with excess protein or minerals.
This low-protein formula offers low protein and includes limited phosphorus, sodium, and copper to reduce the workload on the kidneys and liver. Instead, energy is supplied from non-protein sources such as potato, rapeseed oil, and coconut flour, which help maintain body condition without stressing the excretory organs. Functional herbs like birch leaves, dandelion, and stinging nettle are included for their supportive effects on detoxification and fluid regulation.
The food is also grain-free to support digestive efficiency and reduce metabolic waste, aligning with the needs of dogs requiring a renal- or hepatic-supportive diet. The new AliVet range from Terra Canis – Home-style cooking for dogs adheres to the legal requirements for Feed Intended for Particular Nutritional Purposes (PARNUTs).
